This exciting project was to design and construct a tower lighting system for this Reserve to bring it up to standard for professional sports games to be held.
The project involved installation of a new LV board we had made to specifications to suit specific requirements, installation of rag cages and foundations to support the 25m lighting tower, trenching, install of wiring enclosures, cable and reinstating back to council specifications. We also came across some challenges which we had to defeat in the planning and design stage to keep the LUX level (how light is measured) to the correct Australian standards and also the ground conditions had to be thoroughly tested as this was once swamp land and is very soft a few meters down.
